Tough Enough
IN THE OUTDOORS

Stories about outdoors folks that sucked it up, to continue the dream of the outdoor experience when others would fold their hand and go home.

We select the winner from the entrants and put that story on the web site.

We extend a hardly “Tough Enough” to:

: Missouri River Jim:

If you had the good fortune to fly fish with a guide out of Townsend Montana on the Missouri River, Gallatin River, Jefferson or Madison Rivers you may well have had the experience of being guided by an extraordinary individual.

At over 70 years old Jim was still rowing a McKenzie on those rivers, guiding fly fishing folks to the pockets and holes that hold the best trout the Montana Mountains have to offer.

We at American Outdoor Trails and Tails salute people like Jim that are not only enjoying the outdoors at over 70 years young but are showing the younger of us "the how to and where to" for the best outdoor experience.
